


This makes the game pretty much unplayable with a controller right now. Now the d-pad is also used for inventory navigation, meaning I can only assign items in the upper row of the inventory to the quickslots. So I have to select either the xbox 360 or automatic layout for it to work (haven't tried xbox one).īut a much bigger issue I'm having is with the hotkey for assigning gear to the quickslots, in the first game this was the A-button (X), but here it is assigned to d-pad up. Here there seems to be support for multiple controller layouts but if I select DS4, the controls get all messed up, even though that is the controller I am using.

I played the first Subnautica with a controller and there was one small issue (that seems to be present here aswell) of the RT (R2) and LT (L2) buttons switching places (using a DS4 through Steam, not sure if that matters).
